Mayor's Office

The City at-large elects the Mayor.  The Mayor:Tim Woerther, Mayor
  • only votes on legislation when there is a tie vote, and he/she has the power to veto legislation;
  • appoints members of the Council Committees, and Boards and Commissions;
  • signs contracts and legal documents on behalf of the City.
The Mayor serves a term of four (4) years. The Mayor must be a registered voter and a resident of the City for at least two (2) years prior to election and at least twenty-five (25) years old.
