The Al Foster Trail and Trailhead have both been closed until further notice. Extensive damage occurred due to the flooding of the Meramec River. Clean-up efforts are underway on both improvements, as well as in the Glencoe Community. The trail and trailhead will be reopened as quickly as possible. Please check back to the website for updates on the completion of these efforts. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

A crew has been scheduled to complete the regraveling that is necessary to fix the trail. This will take place over the weeks of April 7th through April 25th, depending upon weather and the extent of damage. The trail should be reopened by April 25th. The trailhead is also closed until the trail is reopened. For your own safety, please observe these closed notices and do not trespass upon the trail or trailhead while they are closed.
