Old State Road will be closed from Rte. 109 to Rue De La Salle Road starting on March 17, 2008 for approximately one week.
L. Krupp Construction, the City's contractor for the construction of the Hamilton-Carr Greenway, will be closing a section of Old State Road during the week of March 17, 2008, weather permitting. Rue De La Salle will be the signed detour route for access between Route 109 and Old State Road. The turn lanes from northbound and southbound Rte. 109 to Old State Road will be closed and the traffic signal will be turned off during the closure. The road will be closed to construct the new pedestrian underpass to provide a safe Old State Road crossing for users of the Hamilton-Carr Greenway. The closure is planned during spring break week to try to minimize the impacts.
Any questions regarding this project, should be directed to Mike Hartwig, the City's Assistant City Engineer. |

| Is That Allowed? Code Enforcement Question of the Week... |
 |
Q - Can I park, keep or store my recreational vehicle/trailer on my property?
A - Yes, a resident may park, keep or store a recreational vehicle/trailer on their property if the location of the trailer meets the City's requirements. The recreational vehicle/trailer must be placed on a paved surface and parked, kept, or stored behind the established building line. Provisions are made in the City's code to allow for vehicle preparation and clean-up. You can view the specific regulations, via the link below to the City's on-line Municipal Code. These regulations can be found in Section 415.380 (S).

| This Week's Q & A...How far have I run? |
 |
Q - When I'm running on the paved trails, I'm not sure how far I've gone. How can I find out?
A - The City is currently working on a signage package for all of its parks and trails, which will include mileage markers. This project is in the early design stages, so installation of the signs is slated for closer to the end of this year. However, the current mileage is listed on-line. So, with a little planning before you head out the door, you'll know exactly how far you have traveled. The on-line mileage listing can be found via the link below.
