| Al Foster Trail & Trailhead |
 |
The Al Foster Trail and Trailhead are both still closed to the public. These areas sustained damage during the flooding last month and repairs are not yet completed. The State Department of Natural Resources will have crews on the trail next week to re-grade and re-gravel a significant portion of the trail. Please do not utilize the trail or trailhead until official notice of their reopening has been made. Conditions at both locations are still dangerous. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter. |

| Is That Allowed? Code Enforcement Question of the Week... |
 |
Q- How many horses can a resident have on their property?
A- Current code places no limit on how many horses a resident may have on their property. The City of Wildwood, St. Louis County Animal Control, and the Humane Society have not established a horse to land ratio; however, there are provisions within each governing entity that are to be followed. For example, property owners within the City of Wildwood can only have horses under their ownership boarded on their property; unless otherwise authorized by the City of Wildwood through a Conditional Use Permit (CUP). In addition, St. Louis County Animal Control, along with the Humane Society, require the owner(s) or authorized agents of horses be capable of properly caring for them by providing adequate food, water, shelter and, of course, general health care. A general rule of thumb that is often used is one (1) horse per every acre of ground. |

| This Week's Question of the Week...Programs for Older Adults |
 |
Please submit your questions via the 'Have You Wondered? So Ask!' Section. This week's question is the last on file.
Q. Does the City provide any recreational programs for older adults?
A. While many of the programs provided by the City are fun for all ages, the City does offer participation in the Lafayette Older Adults Program (LOAP) for Ages 55+. This program is funded by a consortium of cities, including Wildwood, and organized by the City of Ballwin. This group meets on the second and fourth Mondays of the month during the months of September through May. More information can be found via the link to the City of Ballwin's website, listed below:
