Q. Is a permit required to replace windows and/or doors?
A. NO. When replacing existing windows and doors, permits are not required, unless the opening of the windows and doors are altered to fit a different size.

| This Week's Question of the Week...Wildwood Swimming Pool? |
 |
Q. I thank Wildwood for working out deals with nearby pools for Wildwood residents this summer. I went to the Pointe tonight and bought a pass for our family this summer to go to North Pointe.
We moved here from Webster Groves a couple years ago, and their pool complex was one of the hard things to leave there. It was so nice to go there on summer evenings with our family, and you would always run into schoolmates, neighbors or other people you knew.
I was wondering what are the chances of Wildwood building such a facility? I know we rented the rooms there a couple times in winter for our son's birthday, and it was always busy, so that would mean revenue.
A. The development of an outdoor pool facility was identified by a Citizen Committee appointed in 2006 by the City Council as a high priority. Many things have to be addressed, before a pool could become a reality in Wildwood, but over the next few months residents will receive information about a parks sales tax to provide funding for all park facilities and recreational programming, including a potential pool facility. Additionally, the City is considering properties for such a facility and plans on acquiring one in the future. The goal is to address this issue in the next four (4) to nine (9) years. |

| Swimming Pool Pass Information |
 |
The Wildwood City Council approved on May 27, 2008, agreements with three (3) municipalities to offer its residents use of those cities' outdoor swimming pool facilities at a reduced rate. The Cities include Ballwin, Chesterfield, and Fenton. The City of Wildwood is receiving subsidized rates from the Cities of Ballwin and Chesterfield, and has reached a billing agreement with the City of Fenton, for these memberships. The City of Wildwood will be funding $80 per family for this opportunity.
Very few passes remain available in Ballwin!
Information on each facility, the associated costs, and the personal information that is needed to obtain a pass can be found at the link below:
