A committee of citizens has been meeting since last July to draft an Action Plan for the parks and recreation future of the City.  This committee is still in the information gathering phase and is requesting input from other residents, like yourself.  To gain this input, the committee will be hosting two (2) public input forums over the next couple of weeks.    All residents should have received an invitation to the forums. The content will be the same and it is the Committee's hope that one (1) of those nights (Thursday, February 8th or Tuesday, February 13th) will  fit your schedule. The City's monthly scrapbooking event will be held on Tuesday, February 13th at the Old Pond School. Whether you are just getting started (or don't even know where to start) or are a seasoned veteran, you are welcome!  The monthly crops are from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and your fee includes snacks, lunch, drinks, and use of cropping tools.  Please register on-line if you are attending.
