This past Tuesday, the municipal election took place for the office of Council Member. One (1) representative was elected for each of the eight (8) Wards.  Six (6) candidates were unopposed. 

The Hamilton-Carr Multiple-Use Trail is nearing completion. This trail is located on the east side of State Route 109 from Woods Road to Old State Road.  A dedication ceremony will be held in early May.  Check future newsletters for information.

 

Did you know...a small connector will be completed to extend the trail where it currently terminates at Rue de La Salle to Old State Road? The trail will then tunnel under Old State Road and connect to the existing portion of the Hamilton-Carr Greenway.  The existing segment of trail connects to the Al Foster Trail, which travels along the Meramec River into Castlewood State Park.

Due to the growing interest in the new City Hall project, an update will now be provided near the beginning of each City Council meeting. The City Council meets at 7:30 p.m. on the 2^nd and 4^th Monday of each month.

Thanks to those of you who attended last weekend's Spring Egg Hunt.  We were truly lucky with the break in the weather and over 800 people were there to enjoy the sunshine and fun.  We look forward to hosting this event again next year and hope you can attend.
