Registration is now open for the annual GreenRock Trail Challenge. This program, held on National Trails Day, is on Saturday, June 2, 2007.  Participants will complete an 8-mile hike through Rockwoods Reservation and Greensfelder County Park. They will also receive breakfast, lunch and a t-shirt.  The event is free, but only open to one hundred fifty (150) participants. So, don't delay, register for this fun event today!

Cold Stone Creamery, in conjunction with Ridge Rodders, will be hosting a hot rod car cruise on Saturday, April 21st from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. near its location on Taylor Road, near State Route 100. Over twenty-five (25) street rods and street machines will provide fun for all ages.  Bring the family to the Town Center Area to be a part of this fun event and see what is new in this part of our great city.

Eventually (I hope), warmer weather will arrive and with it will come annual improvement programs, such as the replacement of concrete slabs. Please remind your children (or other adults) that writing names or other information in the wet slabs is considered destruction of city property and they can be prosecuted.  This has been an ongoing problem and is expensive to correct.  We appreciate your cooperation in this matter.
