Jamming on the Plaza

Tonight (Friday, June 8th) is the first night of Jamming on the Plaza. This event, held every other Friday night throughout the summer, is provided by the Wildwood businesses and provides live music, fun activities, and a great way to see the Town Center.  Tonight's theme is 'Connecting with the neighborhood.' The event will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and begins on the plaza near Cold Stone Creamery, Starbucks, and U.S. Cellular.

Attendees will receive a passport to complete by visiting various stores within the Town Center area. Properly completed and returned passports will earn participants entry into a drawing for St. Louis Cardinals tickets. For more information regarding these events, including a list of dates, please visit their website at:

Survey Says...

The results are in from the resident survey on Parks and Recreation.  This survey was a random sampling mailed to just over 2,800 households, with over 1,000 being returned (35% response rate). This return rate provides a 95% confidence level in the results.  Click the link below to view an Executive Summary, the full survey analysis report, and/or a market segmentation report.

Home Alone Safety Class

Last chance to register for the Home Alone Safety Class.  This parent/child workshop targeted for children ages 9 to 12 is scheduled for next Wednesday, June 13th from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm at Wildwood City Hall.  More information regarding this class and an on-line registration form click the link below:

New College Avenue - OPEN!

New College Avenue is now open to traffic. This roadway intersects State Route 109, just south of Manchester Road, and provides access to the new Wildwood Campus of the St. Louis Community College, a future northern entrance to the Wildwood Family YMCA, and access to the Meadows at Wildwood (a 55+ residential community). Next time you are in the area, you may want to take a minute for a side trip and check out this blossoming cultural/institutional area of the City's Town Center.

Wildwood Celebration NEEDS YOU!
This year's Wildwood Celebration will be held on Saturday, September 15th from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm in Babler State Park.  If you would be interested in volunteering to assist in the planning of this event, please join us for the upcoming meeting on Wednesday, June 20, 2007. The meeting will be held at 7:00 pm at the Old Pond School.

This event takes lots of volunteers to be done properly. If you have the time, please consider assisting in this fun, family event.  Email Kathy Arnett if you have any questions or are unable to attend the upcoming meeting, but would still like to help.
Ossenfort Road - reminder

Just a reminder that Ossenfort Road, just south of Wild Horse Creek Road, is closed for several months while the bridge over Wild Horse Creek is replaced.
