Amateur Photography Contest
It is almost time for the City's annual Amateur Photography Contest to begin.  The winning photographs in the contest will be printed in the 2008 City Calendar, which will be sent to all households in Wildwood.  Next Friday, July 20, 2007 will be the first day to submit photographs.  Photographs will be accepted until August 17, 2007.  Then from August 24, 2007 through September 11, 2007 voting will take place either on-line or at City Hall to determine the winners.  Winners will be announced at the Wildwood Celebration on September 15, 2007.

Inflatable Swimming Pools
Did you know that many of the inflatable swimming pools available at a large number of retail stores require a building permit according to St. Louis County and City codes? The permitting requirement is due to the drowning hazard associated with these types of improvements.  Please visit the page on the City's website outlining which of these pools are required to be permitted:
Garage Sale & Other Signs
Please be aware the placement of signs within the City right-of-way (attached to light and utility poles and other signs) is a violation of City Code. Not only is this a violation, but it costs the City to remove the signs and repair the damage to where they were affixed.  Please refrain from posting these types of signs.  This will not only reduce the City's expenditures, but keep our streets looking nice. Thank you!
Road Closing Reminders
Just a reminder, portions of Rieger Road and Ossenfort Road are closed due to construction projects. Notification will be provided in future newsletters when the roads will be re-opened.

Thank you for your continued patience in these projects.
