Wildwood Celebration
One week until the Wildwood Celebration!  You won't want to miss this fun family event. There is entertainment for all ages and all of the activities are FREE!  Visit the Wildwood Celebration website for a schedule of events and activity details.
Have a few hours to give and want to volunteer?  Email Kathy Arnett at kathy@cityofwildwood.com.  Many volunteers are still needed to ensure this event is a success. Any help you can provide is greatly appreciated.
Read for the Record
On Thursday, September 20th, the City will be hosting a local Read for the Record Event at 10:00 a.m. at Anniversary Park.  Read for the Record is an attempt to break the world record for the number of adults reading the same book to children on the same day. At the City's event, the children will hear The Story of Ferdinand, have a snack, and complete a fun activity.  There is a great playground at Anniversary Park that the kids can enjoy after the story. Parking is available at Woodlawn Presbyterian Church and police officers will be available to assist with crossing Clayton Road.
Tour de Wildwood
Calling all bicyclists! The City, in conjunction with Trailnet, offers a free ride on Sunday, September 30th.  There are four (4) rides of varying lengths (9, 22, 28, or 48 miles). All routes start at Lafayette High School. Check-in is in the eastern parking lot, near the fieldhouse, from 7:30 am to 9:00 am.  For more information, visit the link below:
