WILDWOOD, MO – Wildwood City Administrator Ryan Thomas announced today that he will be leaving his position as City Administrator, effective December 10, to take a position at the St. Louis branch of a consulting engineering and project management firm.

“I’m excited for this new opportunity and feel confident knowing that I am leaving the leadership of Wildwood with a strong foundation in place,” said Thomas. “During my time at Wildwood, I have had the pleasure of getting to know thousands of great people in the community and have found it very rewarding to have had a direct role in helping so many of them.”

A 1995 graduate of Washington University, Ryan Thomas has served most of his professional career with the city of Wildwood. He started in March 1996 as the city’s first civil engineer, before being appointed to director of public works in July 2001 and then appointed to city administrator in January 2015. In total, Ryan has nearly 23 years of service to the city of Wildwood.

"Ryan has been a key member of our team for many years, and was instrumental in Wildwood's success for our residents. We wish him all the best as he moves to the next level of his career," said Mayor Jim Bowlin of the news.
