Dual-Stream Recycling to Begin February 1, 2019

As approved by City Council on December 10, 2018, the recommended dual-stream recycling program is now scheduled to begin on February 1, 2019 and will include an additional bi-weekly curbside pickup of corrugated papers (cardboard) and mixed papers for an increased cost of $2.66/month, until August 1, 2019, when a new long-term contract is established through a competitive bidding process.  With the additional bi-weekly curbside pickup, Meridian will provide smaller recycle bins to residents for collection of corrugated papers (cardboard) and mixed papers.
