WILDWOOD CO-INTERIM CITY ADMINISTRATORS APPOINTED
Steve Cross and Joe Vujnich tapped to fulfill administrator duties during nationwide search
WILDWOOD, Mo – At the city council meeting January 14, the City Council of Wildwood and Mayor Jim Bowlin approved the appointments of Steve Cross, city treasurer; and Joe Vujnich, director of planning and parks, as co-interim city administrators. Together they will fulfill the role of Wildwood city administrator, vacated by Ryan Thomas in December 2018, while the search for a full-time city administrator continues.
Both have several years of service in Wildwood. Joe has served as director of planning and parks for 23 years; before that, he worked at the St. Louis County Department of Planning for 10 years. Steve has 14 years of experience as city treasurer for Wildwood, working for Wildwood since 2004.
“Both Joe and Steve are responsible, dedicated to the City of Wildwood, and eager to take on this additional role.” said Mayor Jim Bowlin. “I look forward to working with them, while we look to fill the role with a full-time administrator.”
