Road Resurfacing Underway During June

ROAD RESURFACING 2019 - Spotlight (1)


N.B. West has canceled the paving of Old Fairway Dr. for Saturday, June 15th due to rain in the forecast. The paving will take place Monday, June 17th, weather permitting.


The City’s asphalt pavement contractor, N.B. West, is scheduled to finish Melrose Rd between HWY 109 and HWY 100 on Friday, June 14th.

N.B. West will be paving Old Fairway Drive, starting at Old State Road, this Saturday the 15th and completing the job the first dry day next week.

On Monday, June 10th, the City’s contractor, NB West, began resurfacing of the following roads within the City of Wildwood. The entire project should be complete within two (2) weeks, weather permitting.

Melrose Road, from State Route T (St. Albans Road) to State Route 109.  The contractor will start work at State Route T (St. Albans Road) on Monday June 10th, and work towards State Route 109

Manchester Road, between Melrose Road to State Route 100.  

Old Fairway Drive, between Manchester Road to Nantucket Island Drive.

The contractor’s work schedule is weather dependent.  Motorists that utilize these roads should slow down and use caution when driving through the contractor’s work area and expect delays.  Please consider using other routes or adjusting your schedule to allow more time.
