2020 Deer Count

2020 Deer Counting spotlight November 18th to December 31st 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. deer silhouette

Between November 18th and December 31st, the St. Louis County Police Department – Wildwood Precinct will be conducting counts (AKA surveys) of the deer population throughout Wildwood. The counts occur at night between  9 p.m. and 2 a.m.

You may see fully marked police vehicles using the spotlights on roadways throughout Wildwood during this timeframe. This is the method the police officers use to conduct the deer counts.

 This information will assist the City as it considers its deer management strategy.
