The Department of Public Works has issued a special use permit to Star Construction for AT&T's next fiber installation project. This project is taking place in the Westglen Farms area, mostly located in Ward 4 (but some of the project is located within Ward 5).
The project is taking place on the following streets and will provide high-speed fiber internet to over 400 homes:
• Westglen Farms Dr. (Partial)
• Green Pines Dr. (Partial)
• Green Needle Ct.
• Thunderhead Canyon Dr. (Partial)
• Thunderhead Canyon Ct.
• Fullerton Meadows Dr. (Partial/East of Westglen Farms)
• Maple Crossing Dr. and Ct.
• Westclub Terrace Ct.
• Hollister Crossing Dr. and Ct
• New Point Dr. and Ct.
Star Construction is placing door hangers (click here to view door hanger) on the front doors of each of the homes included in the project area. The City has collected an escrow that won’t be released until all restoration efforts have been completed by Star Construction. Star Construction is estimating work to take about 6 weeks, weather permitting, to complete.
Residents that have irrigation systems should mark them. Also, residents are encouraged to photograph their driveways for existing cracks or damage. The new fiber cable will be bored under driveways along one side of the road.
Residents can get notifications from AT&T by visiting att.com/NotifyMe.
If residents have any damage concerns, they can contact Star Construction directly at 314-544-7688. If the issue persists, you can follow up with the Department of Public Works.
